IPOH: Manufacturers in the five northern states that suffered a major power outage on Monday have reported losses of between RM20mil and RM30mil to date, said the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM).
Its energy management committee chairman, Datuk Lew Chin Hoi, said factories that operated round the clock such as cement plants and steel mills were among the most severely hit.
