Sultan acts to stop abuse of JP plates

PETALING JAYA: Unregistered Selangor Justices of Peace (JPs) who failed to remove the “JP” emblem from their vehicles will have their appointments revoked. 

Selangor Council of Justices of Peace (SCJP) president Datuk Seri William Lim said the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, had issued the warning through his secretary and this tough stand was relayed to the council on Sunday.
