Suicide cases on the rise in Penang

PENANG: Suicide cases in the state have been rising over the past four years with 83 cases reported last year compared with 61 in 1999. 

Penang deputy police chief Senior Asst Comm (II) Abdul Wahab Ahmad said there were 65 cases reported in 2000 and 79 cases in 2001.
