MIRI: The new RM180mil bridge that links Sarawak to Brunei will mark a new chapter in the social, economic and diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Brunei, said Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.
“This is the first bridge between Sarawak and Brunei and it will play a vital role in promoting social and economic ties in this region,” he said yesterday during the opening of the 1km-long bridge across the Kuala Baram river.
