SHAH ALAM: Police have busted a syndicate which pocketed over RM1.2mil from 134 Chinese nationals after promising them semi-skilled jobs at construction sites here with a monthly salary of between RM2,500 and RM3,000 each.

Three foreigners – two Singaporeans, aged 45 and 54, who are the leaders of the syndicate, and a 38-year-old Chinese national who acted as the middleman – were arrested on Friday over the cheating case in a police raid on a condominium in Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya.
