Perak picks 300ha site for UTM campus

PARIT BUNTAR: The Perak Government has approved a 300ha site in Simpang Pulai near Ipoh to enable Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to build a campus, said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohd Tajol Rosli Ghazali. 

He said the matter was approved at a recent state executive committee meeting after the university submitted a requested in April for a 400ha site to build the campus.
