KUCHING: Between 50% and 60% of cigarettes sold in Sarawak are believed to be contraband, said Confederation of Malaysian Tobacco Manufacturers’ chief executive Shaik Abbas Ibrahim.
He said Sarawak and Sabah had a much higher incidence of contraband cigarettes, which were brought in from outside the country.
