KUALA LUMPUR: Police have crushed the activities of a group believed to have been raking in huge profits through the repackaging and selling of duty-free cigarettes.
The cigarettes of a popular brand, meant to be sold only in Langkawi and other tourist destinations in the country, were redirected to a shophouse in Setapak before being repacked in new boxes without the Malaysian Duty Not Paid label.
