KUALA LUMPUR: A former Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) lecturer has been arrested in Indonesia, in the wake of an announcement in Jakarta that 10 Jemaah Islamiah (JI) suspects have been held for the recent bombing in the city.
It is learnt that Indonesian police arrested Shamsul Bahari Hussein, an active JI member, following a dossier put out on him by Malaysian intelligence officers after he fled some time in September 2001.
