PENANG: Sungai Pinang assemblyman Looi Swee Cheang’s service centre, a Chinese temple and a motorcycle repair shop were destroyed in a fire in West Jelutong here, causing damage estimated at more than RM500,000.
A refrigeration company and an abandoned barber shop were also slightly damaged in the fire, which occurred at 1am yesterday.
