A BILL to amend the state constitution to increase state seats from 33 to 40 was passed at the state assembly despite three opposition assemblymen’s decision to abstain from voting.
Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon said the increase would enable the state to more represent the rakyat more effectively.
