THE Anti-Corruption Agency will investigate all government agencies, including Padiberas Nasional Berhad (Bernas), which deals with the management of rice, to find out why open smuggling of rice through ports has not been curbed.
Mingguan Malaysia quoted ACA deputy director-general II Datuk Ahmad Said Hamdan, as saying investigations would look into the possibility of abuse, which had resulted in Bernas incurring losses of RM27mil.
