No washout despite the rain

DESPITE the rain, some 500 people turned up for the exclusive outdoor premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean at the Starlight Cinema, Asia's largest outdoor cinema festival. Presented by Nokia, it is being held in the lush surroundings of the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort from Aug 14 to Aug 31. 

With 21 blockbuster films screened in 14 days, cinemagoers will be able to check out popular big screen movies like Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Spiderman, XXX and The Matrix Reloaded during the festival.
