PETALING JAYA: A council enforcement officer will never forget the bold claim made by his attacker before he was struck in the head with an iron rod.

Lu panggil mana punya polis pun kita tak takut (Even if you call police from anywhere, we are not afraid),” said enforcement officer Mohd Riduan Ahmad, 21, in repeating the attacker's warning, which was given when the officers were on their way back to the Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MPPJ) store after a snooker centre raid in PJ Old Town on Tuesday.
