JOHOR BARU: Those providing public toilet facilities will be fined or slapped with a cleaning bill if the restrooms are not maintained.
Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Jimmy Low said local councils have been empowered under the Public Lavatory By-Law to carry out enforcement on restaurants, hotels, coffee shops and shopping centres.
