Twins arrested after 380kg drug bust in PJ

SHAH ALAM: Selangor police have busted a major drug syndicate with the arrest of a pair of 21-year-old twin brothers and the seizure of 379.5kg of assorted drugs worth over RM300,000 from a house in Petaling Jaya. 

In what is believed to be the state’s biggest drug seizure, the state narcotics team led by Chief Insp Sekaran Raman recovered 177.5kg of processed ganja in 177 packets, 200kg of caffeine in eight gunny sacks and 2kg of opium wrapped in a piece of paper from the rented house in Jalan SS2/19 at 5pm on Aug 5.
