BUKIT MERTAJAM: Sixteen pupils of a primary school in Alma were treated for bruises and swelling on their hands after a teacher allegedly caned them with a broomstick on Thursday.
Their parents took them to the Bukit Mertajam hospital where they were treated as outpatients.
