KUALA LUMPUR: Private companies should include pap smears and mammograms in their employees’ healthcare plan, to share with the Government the responsibility of enhancing women's health, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil said.
“If we were to wait for the Government or hospitals to conduct such screenings, it will take a long time. Women should be given more opportunities to do these tests to prevent cervical or breast cancer,” she said.
