Housewife: Hubby last contacted me in April

Thong: Worked as a marble layer in Kuala Lumpur

IPOH: A 34-year-old housewife is looking for her husband who last contacted her in April.

Chong Sau Kuen, from Kampung Baru Jelapang, said her husband, Thong Kok Hing, 35, who worked as a marble layer in Kuala Lumpur, last returned home during Chinese New Year in February.

“He only contacted me once in April.

“Since then I have not heard from him and he has not sent money back to us,” she said at the Perak MCA headquarters on Wednesday.

Chong said attempts to search for her husband at an address in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, two months ago were futile.

Chong added that their three children – aged 15, 11 and six – were yearning for their father.

Perak MCA Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Lee Kon Yin urged those with information on Thong’s whereabouts to contact him at 012-515-1178 or Chong at 05-282-1748.

In another case, a 19-year-old woman is looking for her 35-year-old boyfriend, who works as a debt collector for a loan shark, as she was worried about his safety.

Neo Shwu Chinn, a former cosmetics promoter, said her boyfriend had gone missing after leaving their home in Taman Cemerlang, Ampang here at 11.30am on July 31 to collect debts in Buntong.
