KEPALA BATAS: Dwarfed by a giant Malaysian flag in the background, a group of schoolchildren waved their miniature flags excitedly when the 2003 Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang convoy stopped by their school yesterday.
The pupils have reason to be proud as they were part of a group of 365 pupils, 29 teachers and 50 Parent-Teacher Association members of SK Bumbong Lima who took three weeks to cut, sew and paint the 50m-long by 7m-wide flag.
