THE problems in Malaysian Dravida Sangam which saw the association facing the threat of being deregistered by the Registrar of Societies was highlighted in the Tamil papers.
Tamil Nesan yesterday reported that the association had an emergency supreme council meeting and sacked five of its leaders, including secretary-general R. Balakrishnan, for bringing disrepute to the association.
