KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik has urged various foundations to provide loans and scholarships to bumiputras to study at the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) so that it will have a good racial mix.
Dr Ling, who is also Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) chairman, said he had spoken to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Kuok Foundation and Ananda Krishnan Foundation on the matter.
