MIRI: The 35-year-old hawker suspected of having stabbed to death Miri’s chief imam, Ustaz Haji Mohd Ikhsan Mustapha, more than a month ago has been confirmed to be mentally healthy by a professional psychiatrist following intensive examination and observation.
Dr Abdul Kadir Abu Bakar of Sentosa Mental Hospital in Kuching, who examined the suspect for one month, furnished a copy of his psychiatric evaluation to the Miri police.
