BETONG: The Government is studying several options to check the frequent outbreak of fire in longhouses in Sarawak.
One of the options is to build a concrete partition wall between the bilik (different households) right up to the attic to act as a fire breaker, said Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui.
