The show Cinema Cinema is organised by Seventh Channel of South India.

Its managing director M. Narayanan said proceeds from the Shah Alam's Melawati Indoor Stadium show, scheduled for 8pm on Aug 9, would go towards the Dr Rama Subbiah Educational Scholarship Fund.

The show at the Pasir Gudang's Perbadanan Indoor Stadium is scheduled for 7.30pm on Aug 10.

He said that a local dance troupe, Maras 4U2,and local singer V. Jothy, who emerged second in Astro's Vaanavil talent contest last year, would also be performing in the show.

“This is the second time Seventh Channel is organising the show and we always believe in allowing local talents to participate,” he said.

There was overwhelming response for the first show two years ago.

Both Simran and Mumtaz were in Malaysia in July last year to perform in a mega concert involving leading movie stars from South India.
