PORT DICKSON: Condoms strewn at a stairway at a five-star resort here led to the arrest of 13 foreign women involved in vice early yesterday morning.

In the 1.15am raid, state Immigration officers on an anti-vice operation felt something amiss when they stumbled upon the used condoms before discovering the women hiding in an apartment at the resort.

A 28-year-old man believed to be the pimp was also held.

He had a picture album of scantily clad women to show customers.

State Immigration deputy enforcement chief Razuan Yusof said eight China nationals, four Thais and an Indonesian were arrested.

“Ten of them had no valid travel or identification documents while three others had overstayed,” he said.

He said the man, a local, was detained under Section 56(1)(b) of the Immigration Act 1963 for harbouring illegal immigrants.

Razuan added that the department would continue its anti vice-operation at hotels and resorts here to thwart such activities.
