TELUK INTAN: Fisherman Loo Thean Choy, who returned home on Thursday after being kidnapped by pirates, became an overnight celebrity when villagers crowded his house to welcome him back. 

His relatives, friends and neighbours started to gather outside his house compound in Taman Perdana, Hutan Melintang, after hearing that he had arrived at the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport from Medan at 1.15pm on Thursday.
