SHAH ALAM: A 15-year-old boy, who had been in remand for the last 10 months for a charge of murdering a five-year-old girl by bludgeoning her head with a hammer, pleaded guilty in the High Court here to committing manslaughter.
The prosecution represented by DPP Ariff Azami Hussein decided to offer an alternative charge of manslaughter after a representation was made by the boy’s legal aid counsel, K.A. Ramu.
