KUALA LUMPUR: Consuming food and water polluted by chemicals or pesticide residue can contribute to low sperm count or poor quality sperm, which accounts for almost half of infertility problems, Pantai Medical Centre In Vitro Fertilisation Unit (IVF) clinical director Dr Prashant Nadkrani said.
“Our source of water – rivers – are being tainted with chemicals, effluents and residue from estrogen-like products from certain factories,” he said.
