KUALA LUMPUR: The Women and Family Development Ministry has proposed to the All Women’s Action Society (Awam) to use the Bangsar Sports Complex as the venue for its event to address the issue on rape and violence against women.
The event, which was part of a three-day campaign beginning Sunday to educate the public on eradicating violence against women, was postponed indefinitely due to its failure to get a police permit.
