KUANTAN: The Orang Asli Affairs Department will invite more people in Pahang to join its Indigenous Community Civilisation Development Programme (Petama), which offers Islamic study courses for the orang asli.
The department’s director-general, Mohammad Izat Hasan, said that it would work with other states to select orang asli youths for the programme and would help to finance their studies.
