PETALING JAYA: International primate conservationists have urged the Government to verify claims that a zoo in Pretoria, South Africa has a sound breeding programme before sending four baby gorillas there.
The International Primate Protection League (IPPL) said the zoo had four adult gorillas, but three of them had died. Two newborns also died shortly after their birth at the zoo.
