JOHOR BARU: Some 130 van owners whose vehicles were impounded by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) for ferrying factory workers illegally have appealed to the authorities to release the vehicles on humanitarian grounds.
The owners said the department’s action had caused suffering to their families as they had lost a source of income.
