HINDUS in Johor have appealed to the state government to allocate a beach area for some of their religious rituals.
Quoting former state traffic police officer S. Sabapathy as the spokesman, Malaysia Nanban said that places such as Lido Beach, Permas Jaya and Stulang Laut (all near Johor Baru) were no longer suitable as the authorities would chase the worshippers away in the midst of their rituals.
