JOHOR BARU: A salesman has had to put his wedding plans on hold for two years after being caught in a financial bind because the car he bought may be a stolen vehicle.

Tan Kian Fu, 28, said his dilemma began four months after he bought a second-hand car in July 2001. The finance company he took a loan from for the purchase told him that the car could be a stolen vehicle.
