KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will soon have an efficient system to trace each step of food production, processing, transportation and distribution to ensure food – from the farm to the table – is safe for consumption.
Health Minister Chua Jui Meng said the tracing system needed to be carried out to face the possibility that Western countries, particularly the United States, would impose product tracing requirements for countries exporting food to their nations.
