Couple die in three-vehicle collision

KUANTAN: A couple died and three others were injured in an accident involving three vehicles at the 152nd kilometre of Jalan Kuantan-Segamat near Cenderawasih, Rompin, on Sunday. 

The dead were Abu Hari Hassan, 48, from Felda Keratong Enam in Muadzam Shah, who was killed on the spot, and his wife Zaqbidah Saroni, 36, who died on the way to Segamat Hospital. 

Their son Azri Rahmat, 21, suffered a broken left leg while daughter Azizah, 11, and a pick-up truck driver, whose identity has not been ascertained, were given outpatient treatment. 

The driver of the third vehicle was not hurt.
