KUALA LUMPUR: Former enforcement chief of the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) Kapt (Rtd) Abdul Kudus Ahmad pleaded guilty in a magistrates court yesterday to making a false statement in declaring that he was not a bankrupt when he accepted a post in the local council in 2001.
Abdul Kudus, 40, admitted in an Ampang court to have made such a statement in his declaration letter that I am free of any debts or liabilities based on any loan agreements, whether as borrower or guarantor, when he knew it to be false.
