PENANG: A RM5mil World Laboratory Tissue Culture and Research Centre will be set up in Ara Kuda in North Seberang Prai to cultivate tissue culture to mass produce local fruits.
The centre, to be set up by Synergy Farm Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and other local and foreign research institutes, would also be a cell culture research centre for medicinal plants.
