TOKYO: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s three-day official visit to Japan beginning today is set to underscore the importance he is placing on continuing with the “Look East Policy” started by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad more than two decades ago.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s visit is a strong indication that Malaysia will continue looking towards Japan as a source of inspiration for growth and development.
