Growing anger against US forces in Iraq

EVEN after US President George W. Bush declared on May 1 that the war in Iraq was over, reports from the strife-torn country show a growing rebellion against the occupation forces of the United States and its allies. 

The mainstream Malay papers, Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia, were not short of articles, letters and editorials giving dissenting voices over the increasing violence involving the US military as well as sympathy for the Iraqis.
