KOTA KINABALU: Several Asean members are ready to sign on the dotted line after nearly all of them gave their approval to Malaysias proposal for a treaty to combat transnational crime, including terrorism.
While it was generally agreed that such a treaty was required urgently, some countries needed time before committing themselves to it, either bilaterally or multilaterally.
