KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Fauziah Tengku Abdul Rashid have extended their best wishes to Governor General of Canada Adrienne Clarkson in conjunction with Canada Day today.
In a statement released by Wisma Putra here yesterday, the King said they hoped the warm and friendly ties between Malaysia and Canada would be strengthened further in the years ahead.
