KOTA KINABALU: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will be making a historic visit to Pulau Sipadan today, barely six months after the World Court declared the island as belonging to Malaysia.
He will be country’s most senior Cabinet member to visit the internationally renowned diving haven which the International Court Justice had declared belonged to Malaysia when adjudicating the territorial dispute with neighbouring Indonesia on Dec 17, 2002.
