FROM July 1, all donations made to Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) will be tax-exempt, said MCA deputy president Datuk Chan Kong Choy.
Nanyang Siang Pau and Sin Chew Daily reported that the Finance Ministry had approved an application submitted by Utar last year for donations to its education fund to be tax exempted.
