BATU GAJAH: An estate resident shed some light on the recently discovered underground passageway at Km6 of the Gopeng-Batu Gajah road, saying it was a water channel used by residents across the road some 50 years ago.

M. Permul, 62, of Kinta Kellas Estate said it was the main water source for the people living at the 2nd Mile Rubber Estate, which now belongs to KL Kepong Bhd.
