THE Housing and Local Government Ministry wants to propose legislations to control the development of commercial buildings, which is currently beyond the ministry's purview.
Replying to Kerk Kim Hock (DAP-Kota Melaka), its minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting said the ministry was aware that buyers of commercial units were not protected under the Housing Developers Act.
