KUALA LUMPUR: Sabah hopes to tap 1% or RM76bil of the projected US$2tril (RM7.6tril) of the worldwide tourist spending by 2020.
State Tourism Board chairman Tengku Zainal Adlin said the World Trade Organisation had projected that tourism would become the world’s largest industry in less than two decades, with the Asia-Pacific region leading the growth table.
