KUALA LUMPUR: There are 99 people still detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA) and not “hundreds” as suggested by an article in London-based The Economist.
National Economic Action Council communication team head Abdul Rahman Sulaiman said that among the detainees were 58 members of the Jemaah Islamiah, 18 KMM members and 15 from the Al-Maunah, the three militant organisations operating in Malaysia.
