JOHOR BARU: Johor police have advised the public, especially women, to carry whistles or pepper spray for self-defence, but not lethal weapons.
Its chief Deputy Comm Datuk Musa Hassan said it was important for women to take some protective measures but stressed that they should not carry knives and guns.
